Brace yourselves, Kohl’s shoppers. The store’s “Lowest Prices of the Season” sale is happening Wednesday, April 24th through Sunday, April 28th.
But are the advertised prices really worth your time? Honestly, Kohl’s is advertising a lot of the same deals it did last year. If you didn’t find anything you liked in 2018, the sale might not be for you. And while there are a few solid deals, very few represent historically low prices.
We’re helping you navigate all the deals with an overview of what to expect.

Shop the Sale at Kohl’s

What is Kohl’s “Lowest Prices of the Season” Sale?

This shopping event happens twice a year and features all kinds of deals with no coupons required or, in fact, allowed. While this isn’t good news for those of us who enjoy using multiple Kohl’s coupon codes at a time, it does mean you can stock up and save big without having to wait around for the perfect coupon-stacking opportunity. Plus, you’ll get free shipping on orders of $75 or more. Otherwise, it’ll cost you $8.95.

Another bonus is that you’ll score $10 Kohl’s Cash for every $48 you spend between April 24th and April 28th, which you can then turn around and redeem between April 29th and May 5th.
Yes2You members will also earn double points on their purchases between April 24th and April 28th, so they’ll two points for every dollar spent. That means a $100 purchase gets you $20 Kohl’s Cash and a $10 Yes2You reward you can use in May.
Kohl's Lowest Prices of the Season Sale

What to Buy (and What to Skip)

$6 and Under

The Big One bath towels and bed pillows are always a favorite among our forum users, and it’s never a bad idea to stock up. However, we’ve seen better deals on the Jumping Beans separates and SO apparel (sometimes in the $1 to $3 range), so only buy these now if you can’t wait for a better option in the future.

$13 and Under

You may think the Hamilton Beach kitchen electrics are priced right, but $12.99 is nothing to get excited about. Kohl’s offered several of these at three for $15 and four for $14.40 last year. Plus, they were $2 cheaper during the 2018 Lowest Price of the Season Sale.
We’ve seen the Big One Plush Throw for as low as $6.85, as well.

$25 and Under

We saw The Big One reversible down comforters sell for $20 each in 2017, but $24.99 is still a fair price. The $14.99 gel contour/side sleeper pillows and $19.99 sheet sets all match Kohl’s typical Black Friday prices, so they’re also worth a look.
Playtex 18-Hour bras can go for around $8 to $10 during the store’s frequent intimates sales, so this isn’t the best price you’ll find. That said, it’s still decent, and you won’t have to search through limited sizes.

$51 and Up

Don’t be fooled by the $58.99 Hotel Suite comforter; it has sold for $40 in the past. Similarly, the Shark Navigator DLX vacuum can be found for around $100.
It’s also hard to justify the $279.99 KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer when we’ve seen it sell for far less during Black Friday sales, credit events and rebate promotions.
