Right now, you can join Walmart+ for $12.95 per month (for a month-to-month subscription) or $98 per year if you pay for an annual membership in full. If you sign up for the full year, it’s a savings of $57.40 yearly or 37% off the month-to-month subscription. That works out to just under $2 per week* and your annual membership pays for itself in just two deliveries.** Plus, you receive all the same benefits as the month-to-month plan, including the Shop & Go in-store app and fuel discounts.

Pay on Your Phone and Be on Your Way
To start using Scan & Go, all you have to do is download the Walmart+ app to your smartphone and shop in any of Walmart’s 4,700 stores. As you choose merchandise, scan the items’ UPC codes. When you have everything you want, simply pay for your selections anywhere in the store using the app and Walmart Pay. You’ll receive a digital receipt on your phone that you’ll show a Walmart associate on your way out the door. The new service is even faster than self-checkout kiosks, and ahead are more benefits to consider which show just how convenient the new Scan & Go service can be while shopping at your local Walmart store.

The Scan & Go option couldn’t come at a better time as the weather turns and flu season and the ongoing COVID concerns both make minimizing person-to-person contact as much as possible more important than ever.
Plus, the app offers a convenient way to get in and out when stocking up on, say, a few groceries or last-minute items. And if you forget something on the list when you’re already out the door, it’s now easy to run in and grab it and be back out in no time. The Scan & Go feature allows you to head to Walmart to shop but with that added layer of speed and convenience.

Since Scan & Go keeps a running tally of selections, you’re always kept aware of what your final bill will be so there are no longer any unpleasant surprises (and blown budgets) at the register.
