Streaming subscriptions add up fast, so a card perk that quietly covers one for you is always worth a look. Here’s a deal Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholders can claim right now, along with what commenters are saying about how easy it was to activate.

Chase Sapphire Preferred 1-Year Apple TV+ Subscription for Free

Chase is offering eligible Chase Sapphire Preferred 1-Year Apple TV+ Subscription cardholders a full year of Apple TV+ at no cost, a perk valued at $156. To claim it, cardholders log into their Chase account, click the “Activate Apple TV” option on the promo page and the subscription applies automatically. Anyone with an existing Apple TV+ subscription will have it pause during the free year and pick back up once the 12 months end. The offer runs through December 31, 2026.

The deal has earned a +43 score on Slickdeals and lots of comments so far. One commenter, dekrum2, said activating it “worked great for me … easy peasy.” Another commenter, Zman5, added that Sapphire Reserve cardholders get a similar complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music benefit that also has to be activated on chase.com or the Chase mobile app.

The offer is only valid if you keep your account open. If you cancel or downgrade your card, you will have to start paying for the subscription again.

Offers like this tend to be limited-time so it’s worth activating soon if you have the card. If you want to hear about similar streaming and credit card perks as they pop up, consider setting up a deal alert.
