Most retailer freebies are one and done, but this one refills on the first of every month. Active Walmart+ members can claim 25 free 4×6 photo prints through the Photo Center perk, and since Walmart’s same-day prints start at 18 cents each, that works out to roughly $4.50 a month, or about $54 a year, in prints you never pay for. The redemption process runs through an in-store kiosk and the Walmart app, but Slickdeals users turned up a shortcut that skips the trip entirely.

Here’s what you’ll need to know to cash in on this offer:

How to Claim Your Free Walmart Photo Prints

The Walmart+ photo perk is redeemed at a participating Walmart Photo Center kiosk. Order up to 25 4×6 prints at the kiosk, take the printed confirmation slip, then open the Walmart app and go to your Walmart+ Benefits page. Selecting the Photo Center perk reveals a barcode. Hand the confirmation slip and that barcode to the associate at checkout and the order rings up at nothing.

A few limits apply. You have to be an active Walmart+ member, the cap is 25 prints per account per calendar month, and Photo Center services vary by store, so it’s worth confirming your location still has a kiosk before driving over. Anything past 25 prints, or any other print size, is charged at the usual rate. If you aren’t a member yet, Walmart is running a 30-day trial for $1, with the membership renewing at $98 a year after that.

This deal has earned a score of +247 with 46 comments and more than 30,000 views. So far, the most useful report in the comments contradicts the official instructions. Community member BrightWinter381 let us know that placing an online order for prints that totaled $0.00 with delivery a few days later, and MizNitch said the same thing after ordering the full 25 prints online with free delivery. That isn’t how the perk is written up, so treat it as a bonus rather than a guarantee. As Shanerob675 pointed out, the in-store requirement exists to get members through the door in the first place.

Free print promotions rotate between Walmart, Walgreens and CVS throughout the year, and they tend to be gone before word spreads. Set up a Deal Alert for photo prints and you’ll get a notification the moment a matching offer is posted.
