For a limited time, you can bring home Super Mario 3D World for $49.99 on Amazon. This is one of the first major discounts we’ve seen for the game, and – based on Nintendo’s sale patterns – likely one of the best prices you’ll see this year.

Order Mario 3D World on Amazon

After launching on Wii U nearly eight years ago, Super Mario 3D World has finally been ported to the Switch. However, the game’s received much more than a fresh coat of paint; Nintendo has tacked on a whole new adventure with Bowser’s Fury.
The new content lets you explore the semi-open-world of Lake Lapcat, filled with enemies, bosses and the usual assortment of hidden stages. Along the way, you’ll get help from Bowser Jr., as he attempts to break the spell cast upon his dad and stop his furious rampage.
If you haven’t played the classic Wii U title, this is without a doubt the best way to experience Super Mario 3D World. Returning veterans, meanwhile, will love all the new gameplay packed in with Bowser’s Fury. There’s also a bunch of smaller updates, including a new Snapshot Mode and increased movement speed.

The Best Current Deals for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

There’s wasn’t any universal pre-order bonus for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Instead, individual retailers offered their own exclusive content, some of which is still available post-launch.
Best Buy
This is one of the strangest promotions we’ve seen for a Nintendo game. For an extra $2.00 you can pick up a Super Mario 3D World Phone & Tech Badge. It’s essentially a high-quality removable sticker, but it features Cat Mario, so that’s pretty cool.
We’ve also heard reports of $10 off coupons being sent out to select customers. Be sure to check your inbox before heading out to make a purchase.

GameStop
GameStop had two exclusive posters on-offer as a pre-order bonus, but those appear to no longer be available online post-launch. At the same time, we all know the inside of a physical GameStop location can feel like the Wild West, so if you’re really hungry for the posters, try calling up your local one to see if they have any leftovers.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser‘s Fury Collectibles

Beyond the Switch game, Nintendo launched several unique collectibles on February 12th. As you might expect, these are incredibly popular – as is the case with anything related to the mustachioed plumber – and finding them in-stock might be a challenge. Here’s what you should be on the lookout for:

Exclusive Mario Red & Blue Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has a penchant for releasing limited-edition consoles to coincide with its biggest games, and that holds true for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Although its availability is limited – and it’ll likely sell out fast – there’s no doubt Nintendo pulled out all the stops when designing this beautiful console.
