Check YouTube TV Deal at T-Mobile

After a brief foray into branded streaming, T-Mobile has begun phasing out its TVision LIVE, VIBE and Channels platforms in favor of adopting YouTube TV and Philo as options for premium live television. By signing up through T-Mobile, customers can pick up YouTube TV for $54.99 per month, a savings of $120 per year. Alternatively, you can subscribe to Philo TV for $10 a month (also a $10 discount).
T-Mobile’s YouTube TV offering follows the carrier’s recent announcement that it will be partnering with Google to bring Messages and Google One to its customers as default texting and cloud storage platforms. YouTube TV includes 85+ channels of live news, sports and shows, with channels like CNN, ESPN, Comedy Central and MTV filling out its roster to cover a wide variety of content.
YouTube TV also boasts simultaneous streaming on up to three devices, unlimited DVR cloud storage and up to six unique users per household. Each user in a YouTube TV household has their own library, tailored to each person’s preference.
For a limited time, T-Mobile customers can also get three months of YouTube Premium for free. YouTube Premium allows for ad-free viewing, background play and even the ability to download videos you’d like to watch offline. Premium also gets you access to YouTube’s huge slate of original shows like Wayne and Cobra Kai, as well as its music streaming app YouTube Music. After your three month trial ends, Premium will cost $11.99 per month.
Signing up for YouTube TV makes sense for customers who may already be familiar with Google’s suit of services and are looking to cut out the expensive headache of traditional cable television.

Philo TV

Credit: Philo

While YouTube TV is unarguably enticing, some of our users feel they can get by just fine with a discounted subscription to Philo TV. For $20/month (or $10/month with discount) the streaming service offers 60+ channels of live television, unlimited DVR, simultaneous streaming on up to three devices and a whopping 10 unique users per household. You can also add EPIX for an additional $6 per month, and STARZ for $9 per month. Both add-ons have a seven-day free trial if you’d like to try before you buy.
While Philo doesn’t offer live sports or local news coverage like YouTube TV, its absurdly low price (made even lower by T-Mobile’s discounted bundle) is almost too good to pass up. Philo is a great choice for customers looking to add an inexpensive, live TV option to their repertoire of other streaming services.
Philo is offering a one-week trial if you’d like to try the service but aren’t a T-Mobile customer. You can also try YouTube TV with a two-week free trial.
