First responders are on the frontlines in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, and now businesses are returning the favor.

Healthcare workers and first responders (like police officers, EMTs and firefighters) are temporarily getting priority access to Costco clubs nationwide. Just present your Costco membership card and official work identification.

Crocs

Fast Food Deals with Free Delivery 

Slickdeals community member max1001 posted (April 10) an extensive list of 35+ fast food deals, freebies and free deliveries for all (helpful so people do not have to leave their house for their favorite foods). They also made a point to note which ones also offer free food or steep discounts for those risking their lives and serving on the front lines of this nationals crisis.

Furbo Dog Camera 

Slickdeals community member SlickDealio posted a special offer from Furbo Dog Camera offering a free Furbo device to keep medical heroes and their fur babies connected during the coronavirus crisis. Headspace

Hertz is offering essential healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City a free, month-long vehicle rental. To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need a valid medical ID, an email address with a healthcare domain, and a driver’s license. Plus, you’ll need to be a member of the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program (it’s free to join.) Just complete their brief form online, and they’ll contact you regarding availability and additional steps.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

Healthcare workers are invited to free Original Glazed Doughnuts every Monday between March 30 (National Doctor’s Day) through National Nurses Week (May 6-12). All you need to do is show your employer badge at a Krispy Kreme drive-thru for free doughnuts (a dozen) for yourself and coworkers before or after a long shift. Mattress Firm

As a way of saying thanks to all the heroes in the medical field, Mattress Firm and Protect-a-Bed are giving away 10,000 pillows to workers in the healthcare community now through April 15th. Up to 1,000 pillows will be donated each day, starting at 10 a.m. CDT. Nando’s Peri Peri Chicken

The restaurant is offering free meals to medical workers with a valid hospital ID now through May 3. The free meal includes the chain’s signature chicken with chips. This offer must be redeemed by phone order, and it’s not valid for delivery or online ordering.

Medical personnel and first responders can receive free accommodations at any OYO Hotels & Homes in America to sleep, shower or just take it easy for a little bit during the COVID-19 crisis.
