The New Deal Details Page Is Live Now

Our web team has been hard at work on new features for the site, and a fresh design of the Deals Details Page is now live! 

The redesigned Deal Details Page has a streamlined layout so you can quickly browse the deal details that matter most to you. You’ll also see a new comment search feature that allows you to search comment threads to easily find key information you’re looking for. Want to find out what other users think about a product’s quality, size or other details? Try searching a comment thread to get intel on what you need faster. You can also add GIFs to your comments now for richer conversation with fellow deal hunters.

This redesign is in direct response to the feedback our community has shared in recent months—your input plays a crucial role in our evolution and helps us add new features. We truly couldn’t be here without you, and we’re committed to keeping your needs and preferences in mind as we continue to develop the site. More Site Improvements Are Coming

Additional site improvements are underway and will gradually roll out in the coming weeks. We’ll have more details to share in the near future, but here’s a quick overview of what’s coming soon:

• Improved search: More filtering options are coming, along with the ability to swap between grid and list views. Soon, a new feature will allow you to interact with deals directly from search results. We’re also focusing on improving our search engine to bring you more relevant deals.
• Slickdeals Scout: This new tool scours the web for the latest deals from popular retailers to bring you up-to-the-minute discounts so you can take advantage of them before they disappear. This feature will be in addition to the heart of Slickdeals—community-sourced deals—and will never replace those. In fact, you can toggle between viewing and hiding Slickdeals Scout deals to match your preference.     
• A better homepage: The new homepage will be cleaner and easier to navigate. For example, it will default to Frontpage Deals and will include quick access to Popular Deals and Hot Deals. A later version will also have a dedicated For You tab with personalized deals.

Coming Soon: Slickdeals App Beta Launch

We’ll also soon be launching the beta version of our new app. This will roll out gradually to groups of users in the coming weeks and months, and we’re excited for you to see the improvements and test it out!

Here’s a sneak peek at what the new app will feature:

• Streamlined design: Navigation will be cleaner and clearer than ever before, with intuitive layout and fresh design.
• More and better deals: Slickdeals Scout is on the way! This new AI-powered feature will be at work 24/7 discovering fresh deals from your favorite retailers. Prefer to stick to community-sourced deals? No sweat. You can view or hide Slickdeals Scout deals any time.
• Enhanced search: The beta will also bring improved search functionality to your fingertips. Results will be more relevant, ranking more recent deals higher. And you can switch between list and grid view with just a tap.
• In-app deal posting: The new version will let you post deals directly in the app for a more seamless and convenient experience, whatever device you’re on.
