Samsung recently added several new smartphones to its Galaxy lineup, although none are more interesting than the mid-range Galaxy A52 5G. Featuring an ultra-premium design, impressive set of cameras, 120Hz refresh rate and 5G capability, the $499.99 device is already making waves as one of the best affordable smartphones on the market.
Of course, the Galaxy A52 5G can be had for much less than its standard $500 price tag – you just need to do a bit of digging. Here are the best current deals and discounts on the new Galaxy A52 5G.

The Best Samsung Galaxy A52 5G Deals and Discounts

As is the case with all new releases, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G is currently seeing a variety of promotions from a variety of retailers. The best discount of the bunch is being offered by AT&T, which knocks $350 off the price with an eligible wireless plan.
Beyond the impressive deal from AT&T, you’ll also find discounts directly from Samsung, as well as Amazon and Best Buy.
AT&T
A few different promotions are running at AT&T, although the most enticing is the offer that gets you a Galaxy A52 5G for just $5/month. Just sign up for the monthly payment package, pay a $30 activation fee – plus tax – and maintain an eligible unlimited plan. You’ll then receive $350 in bill credits over the next 30 months.
There’s also an option to trade-in your device. You can check your current phone’s trade-in value here

Samsung
Buy the new Galaxy A52 5G straight from Samsung, and you can save $150 with an eligible trade-in device. This includes the Galaxy S9 Plus, Galaxy Note 9, iPhone 8 Plus and Pixel 4 XL. You can also trade the powerful iPhone X or XR for $200 or the XS Max for $300 in credit, shaving even more off the price of your new Galaxy A52.

Amazon
There are two ways to pick up the Galaxy A52 5G from Amazon. The first is the least attractive option, which is to simply pay full price for the US version. The second option requires a bit more research but saves nearly $200 – as the International version is currently on sale for $339.99.
Before throwing the International A52 5G in your shopping cart, however, there are a few things you’ll need to be aware of. The biggest issue is that it does not include a warranty in the US. Beyond that, the phone won’t work with CDMA carriers such as VerizonSprint or Boost. Make sure to do a bit of research – and check out the full product description – but this is a great way to save a bundle of cash if you’re willing to forgo a warranty.

Best Buy
Activate your unlocked Galaxy A52 5G at the time of purchase and you can save $50.

T-Mobile
Unfortunately, T-Mobile is not running any promotions for the Galaxy A52 5G.

B&H Photo
There are currently no discounts available for the Galaxy A52 5G at B&H Photo.

Samsung’s latest mid-range phone manages to pack in some impressive hardware without inflating its price tag. A robust set of cameras, 120Hz display and an ultra-premium design make the Galaxy A52 5G a great option for anyone looking to replace their old phone with an upscale, affordable device.
Here’s a full rundown of everything the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G brings to the table:

  • Screen Size: 6.5-inches
  • Internal Storage: 128GB
  • RAM: 6GB
  • Expandable Storage: Up to 1TB
  • 5G Capable: Yes
  • Display Type: Flat, Full HD+ Display
  • Refresh Rate: 120Hz
  • Fingerprint Sensor: On-screen Optical Fingerprint Sensor
  • Front Camera: 32MP Selfie Camera
  • Rear Camera: 64MP Main Camera, 12MP Ultra Wide, 5MP Macro, 5MP Depth
  • Battery: 4500 mAh

Galaxy A52 5G Standout Features

Among all those impressive features, nothing is more noteworthy than its 5G capability. Powerful phones in this price range that also include 5G are few and far between, making the Galaxy A52 5G a great balance between affordability and performance. 5G networks are undoubtedly the future, so it’s great to see a well-rounded mid-range phone that makes good use of the new networks.
Then there’s the 120Hz refresh rate – a feature not seen on many smartphones, let alone one under $500. This dynamic refresh rate provides one of the smoothest user experiences on the market, letting you surf the web, watch videos and play games without experiencing any hiccups in the image.
All of this is packed into a design that gives the Galaxy A52 5G the appearance of a much more expensive product. It doesn’t feature an all-metal case like some high-end flagships, but its powerful set of cameras and sleek curves give it an ultra-polished look that rivals its more expensive cousins.

Not sold on the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G? Check out the following smartphones that carry a similar price tag but offer a different set of pros and cons. From the Google Pixel 4a 5G to the iPhone SE, here are a few other options that can go toe-to-toe with Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A52 5G.
iPhone SE
When it comes to affordable Apple products, nothing tops the iPhone SE. Packing in the powerful A13 Bionic chip and featuring a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, the iPhone SE is arguably the best way to get your hands on an iPhone without breaking your budget. There are plenty of discounts and promotions floating around for the popular device, but we particularly like this deal from Walmart, which lets you pick up the iPhone SE for just $5/month.
It doesn’t feature the blistering 120Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy A52 5G – or even 5G, for that matter – but it makes up for it with a wonderful processor and the usual assortment of iOS features, such as reliable build quality and access to the deep library of games on the App Store.

Google Pixel 4a
If you just need an affordable photo that comes with reasonable specs and a high-quality camera, look no further than the under-budget Pixel 4a. A massive battery that will last all day, a 12 MP dual-pixel rear camera setup and a Snapdragon 730G provide you with more than enough firepower for your everyday tasks – along with full support for Google Stadia game streaming.
You can also pick up a Pixel 4a 5G for an extra $150, which adds a larger battery and display along with 5G connectivity.

OnePlus 9 5G
Arguably the master of mid-range phones, OnePlus knows how to craft an affordable product with high-end specs. Its massive screen features the same 120Hz refresh rate as the Galaxy A52 5G, but it doesn’t come with the ability to adjust refresh rates based on your activity – meaning you’ll drain its battery faster than you might expect.
Still, that screen is a beauty to see in action. Combined with an impressive camera and the blistering Snapdragon 888 processor, the OnePlus 9 is a serious contender when up against the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. It’s a bit more expensive, but you’ll no doubt get your money’s worth.
