The nation’s premiere fast-casual Italian-American experience, Olive Garden, is offering its famous buy one, take one offer on select entrées again.
That means you can go out for dinner at your local Olive Garden, choose from an array of select pasta-based meals, and still get to take home a fresh pasta entrée to go. And yes, you’ll still get to enjoy the unlimited free salad or soup and legendary breadsticks in-restaurant.
Of course, your take-home meal won’t include the unlimited sides, but it does make for a great freezer meal or work lunch when you don’t feel like cooking.
You can also order online and get both meals to go, but that means missing out on the complimentary soup or salad and breadsticks sides. That’s basically the best part of dining at Olive Garden.

Olive Garden’s menu items are fairly standardized, but the prices do vary from state to state, and this deal is no exception. For example, the dinner price of a Five Cheese Ziti al Forno is $16.49 in Glendale, CA, whereas in Lakeland, FL, the same entrée starts at $13.49.
In Sacramento, CA, Slickdealer bajeckabean reported a $14.99 starting price for entrées included in this deal and a premium up-charge for some of the dining-in entrées, including the garlic chicken and the shrimp scampi, “making it a $21 purchase for your main entrée and your simpler take-home meal.”
Meh3834 concurred, saying, “Same here in the south Puget Sound. I know it’s only a couple dollars but $15 for spaghetti seems crazy.”
At the end of the day, though, you can still save around $15 using this Olive Garden deal, which isn’t bad.
