Are you still charged fees with DashPass?

Unfortunately, DashPass doesn’t completely eliminate additional service fees when ordering DoorDash, but it does greatly reduce the fees and provides free delivery if you reach the minimum order total. 

While your delivery fee may be waived, there are still service fees, taxes, and tips for the delivery driver. On average, DoorDash charges a 10%-15% upcharge on order subtotals. With DashPass, that figure drops to a flat rate of 5%. 

Can you cancel DashPass anytime?

Yes, you can cancel DashPass at any time with no cancellation fees through your DoorDash account. DashPass is not a contract subscription. If you start using the service and find that you don’t use it enough to justify the cost, you can easily cancel your membership.

To cancel your DashPass membership:

1. Open the DoorDash app.
2. Click the account icon in the top left corner.
3. Select “Manage DashPass.”
4. Click “End Subscription.”
5. Confirm that you want to end your subscription.

Once you cancel, you can continue enjoying your DashPass perks until the end of the billing cycle.
