Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event has officially started and will continue through October 7. It’s a great opportunity to get a head start on your holiday shopping. Just remember that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still to come, so only pull the trigger on deals that are too good to pass up or things you need right now.

Apple AirPods Pro 3: $179 at Amazon

Amazon has the Apple AirPods Pro 3 Wireless Earbuds for $179, down from $249. The deal score is +538, making it one of the most popular deals of the sale so far. These are Apple’s best earbuds yet, with noise canceling that blocks up to twice as much as the AirPods Pro 2, plus built-in heart rate tracking for workouts. Walmart is matching the price if you’d rather shop there. If you’re lucky, your local Staples might have them for $169, so check that first. Otherwise this is worth jumping on now.

Apple Mac mini M6 (16GB/256GB): $779.99 at Amazon

The 2026 Apple Mac mini with the M6 chip, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD is on sale for $779.99, down from $899. The deal score is +235. It’s the best online price we’ve seen on the new model, and it’s a great fit for everyday work and photo editing in a compact 5-by-5-inch footprint. If you store a lot of files locally, keep in mind the 256GB SSD can’t be upgraded later. We have seen this for as low as $700 this month, but that was at Microcenter. The majority of their deals are in-store only and they’re limited to 30 retail location across the country.

JLab JBuds Pods ANC Earbuds: $32.50 at Amazon

That’s half off, and it’s one of the cheapest ways to get active noise canceling during the sale without spending AirPods money. These earbuds have a 4.3 rating from 270+ reviews on Amazon and product reviews have praised them for their quality relative to the price point.

24-Oz Owala FreeSip Twist Stainless Steel Water Bottle: $19.97 at Amazon

The best water bottle deal so far is the 24-oz Owala FreeSip Twist Stainless Steel Water Bottle for $19.97, down from $30. The deal score is +131. It’s available in nine colors, including Black Cherry, Denim and Scream Green. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen on this bottle in the past three years, beating past deals that landed between $21 and $24, and it makes an easy stocking stuffer. Do note that there are some drawbacks to this particular model. One user pointed out having to add ice cubes one at a time, and another flagged that it’s not the easiest to clean. That doesn’t seem to stop most people from wanting to snag one of the “it” water bottles of 2026.

42mm Apple Watch Series 12 GPS Smartwatch: $349.99 at Amazon

You can get the 42mm Apple Watch Series 12 GPS Smartwatch in Light Gold Aluminum with a Sand Sport Band for $349.99, down from $399. The deal score is +85. This is the first discount we’ve seen on the Series 12 since it launched just weeks ago. One user commented that “the 12 is massive upgrade in terms of the chip and the health sensing features.”

21-Piece DeWalt Black and Gold Drill Bit Set: $17.98 at Amazon

Amazon has the 21-piece DeWalt Black and Gold Oxide Coated High Speed Steel Drill Bit Set (DWA1181) for $17.98, down from $40. The deal score is +85. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen on this set. Lowe’s is matching the price if you’d rather pick it up in store. Drill bit sets like this tend to grow legs in my garage and when I find the box, half of the bits are missing. So this deal should get me through 2027 hopefully.

Brooks Men’s Revel 8 Running Shoes: From $64.95 at Amazon

Runners should check out the Brooks Men’s Revel 8 Running Shoes that are available in several colors starting at $64.95, down from $100. The deal score is +305. Availability varies by size and color, and some combinations are already selling out, so check the deal thread for what’s left before you buy.

Gift Card Sale: Up to 20% Off Instacart, DoorDash, Uber and More at Amazon

The community spotted a long list of eGift cards, including a $100 Instacart card for $85, a $100 Uber card for $85 and a $50 DoorDash card for $42.50. The deal score is +258. Several restaurant and retail cards, including Applebee’s, Crumbl and H&M, are $40 for $50. If you already spend at these places, it’s an easy 15% to 20% back. A few cards, like Roblox, require Prime.
