Reading Time: 2 minutesWalmart has announced its Fall Deals 2026 sale, starting October 5 at 12 a.m. ET, putting it a full day ahead of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, which begins October 6. Unlike Amazon’s sale, Walmart’s event requires no membership to shop, so anyone can take advantage of the deals from the start.
Details are still sparse, but Walmart has teased discounts across four main categories: up to 30% off food, up to 50% off home, up to 30% off toys, and up to 40% off fashion. More specifics are expected closer to the October 5 launch date.
Do You Need Walmart+ to Shop the Sale?
No. Walmart’s Fall Deals are open to all shoppers without a membership. That said, Walmart+ members ($12.95/month or $98/year) get free delivery on eligible orders, which can add up fast during a multi-day sale. A free 30-day trial is available if you want to test it ahead of the event. You can also get Walmart+ free via monthly credits if you have the Amex Platinum credit card.
