Rainbow Six Free-to-Play Game is Heading to Mobile Devices Soon
If you enjoyed the highly strategic and tense moments of Rainbow Six Siege on PC or console, you’ll be happy to know that you can now get your palms sweaty anywhere thanks to Ubisoft’s recent announcement of Rainbow Six Mobile.
This free-to-play, tactical first-person shooter has been redesigned specifically for mobile device gameplay, and features the 5v5 fast-paced action that made the original Rainbow Six Siege so popular. In fact, iconic maps from Rainbow Six Siege will be featured in Rainbow Six Mobile, along with a roster of fully customizable operators and PVP game modes from the Rainbow Six universe.
The intel gathering, destructible environments, and gadget-based traps have all made it over into the core game mode of attackers versus defenders. You can learn more about the behind-the-scenes development and decisions on Ubisoft’s blog.
So, how will it feel to play a tactical FPS on a smartphone? Well, you can sign up for the Rainbow Six Mobile beta tests to be among the first to find out. But Ubisoft says that the customizable controls have been optimized for mobile platforms, and take into consideration our comfort, grip style, and phone screen layout.
Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing more information about the upcoming Rainbow Six Mobile game as it becomes available!
