The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is one of the most highly anticipated phones of 2022. A new set of leaks leaves little to the imagination. According to the latest images, we now know exactly what the Galaxy S22 Ultra will look like. We also know that it’ll be available in four unique colors.
Keep in mind that Samsung is yet to make an official announcement (and it’s made no comment on the latest images and specs), but these seem to be the real deal. According to a prominent leaker in the tech industry, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will boast the usual suite of high-end specs, including:

  • Upgraded Gorilla Glass Victus+
  • Reduced S Pen latency (2.8ms)
  • 5,000mAH battery with wireless charging
  • 6.8-inch display
  • 3088 x 1440p resolution
  • One UI 4.1

The Ultra model of the Galaxy lineup is always loaded with premium hardware. It looks like the S22 will continue that legacy. What’s a bit different this year, however, is the overall design of the S22 Ultra. Based on the new renders floating around the web, this year’s Galaxy Ultra is inspired by the Galaxy Note of years past. It’ll even come with an S Pen.
Rounding out the design is the switch to an Armor Aluminum chassis for added strength and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Beyond the fancy hardware, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra might also be available in a wild new set of colors. You can also choose black and white if you fancy. We also saw the S22 Ultra in new burgundy and green options. The S21 Ultra came in black, titanium, navy and brown. It’s unclear if those colors will return for the S22 Ultra.
Samsung is expected to reveal official details about the Galaxy S22 family in the coming weeks. However, if you’re in the market for a powerful smartphone today, you can check out an impressive trade-in offer from Samsung that gets you the S21 Ultra 5G for just $780 – down from its usual price of $1,380.
