Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Deals & Discounts

The Fighters Pass is your gateway into the expanded world of Super Smash. The Fighters Pass includes five DLC packs, and each DLC pack includes the following:

  • One new fighter
  • One new stage
  • Additional music tracks

Each of the two available Fighters Passes were rolled out gradually over time, but the both have finally come to an end. You can still purchase the both packs with all their content, but there will be no new additions to the game beyond the characters already included in the passes.
If you’re curious, here are the Fighters introduced in with Fighters Pass Volume One:

  • Joker (Persona)
  • Hero (Dragon Quest)
  • Banjo & Kazooie (Banjo Kazooie)
  • Terry (Street Fighter)
  • Byleth (Fire Emblem)

Fighters Pass Volume Two includes the following six characters:

  • Min Min (ARMS)
  • Steve and Alex (Minecraft)
  • Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)
  • Pyra and Myrtha (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)
  • Kazuya (Tekken)
  • Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Much like the base game, there aren’t a ton of discounts for the Fighters Passes. It looks like Amazon has the best discount… even if it’s only by a few cents.

More Ways to Save on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

If none of the above deals catch your eye, there are a few other ways you can get your hands on a discounted copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Pick Up a Used Copy

Because the game is a few years old, you can easily pick up a used copy from several different retailers. It might be offered in a damaged case or without the original art insert, but the game itself will work all the same. We’d recommend searching GameStop or eBay for the best prices.

Check for Stores That Offer Trade-in Credit

Retailers like Best Buy, Amazon and GameStop almost always accept old games in return for a trade-in credit. If you’re looking to upgrade to the latest edition of Smash, getting rid of some of your older games could help you save a few bucks.

Shop Smart and Set a Deal Alert

There’s no getting around it: Gaming can be an expensive hobby. That’s why you have to take advantage of all the small edges you can. For instance, you could consider getting a Target RedCard, which provides you with a 5% discount on all purchases, including video games.
And of course, you can be sure to find the best discounts and promotions right here on Slickdeals. Just set a Deal Alert for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and you’ll be notified whenever a great new sale comes up!
