Ballard Designs runs a rotating mix of sales events, promo codes and permanent markdowns that can save you up to 85% on your order. The deepest discounts are in the clearance section, but limited-time sales and promo codes can also cut prices by 20% to 40%. Below we break down the best Ballard Designs deals available right now, from the dining event and sitewide sale to clearance finds, promo codes and credit card perks.

Ballard Designs Promo Codes for Up to 35% Off

These Ballard Designs promo codes offer percentage and dollar off discounts. The best code depends on what you are buying and how much you are spending.

• MKAS23362: Save 35% storewide
• BEBRIGHT: Save 30% storewide
• HVSEP253: Save 25% storewide
• BD8N9C7B: Save 20% plus free shipping
• 25BDSP55: $50 off sitewide

The percentage codes work better on larger orders. For example, MKAS23362 at 35% off saves more than $50 on any order over $143. On smaller orders under that amount, 25BDSP55 saves you more.

Save 30% to 50% When You Buy Multiples of Select Items

Ballard Designs offers an extra discount when you buy multiples of the same item type. The savings range from 30% to 50% depending on the category, and the discount applies automatically when you add the required number of qualifying items to your cart.

Here is what qualifies:

• 30% off two or more: art and mirrors, doormats, pendants, drapery items, lamp shades, sconces, nightstands, end tables, dining cushions, dining chair sets, table and floor lamps
• 30% off three or more: bar and counter stools
• 30% off four or more: dining chairs
• 50% off two or more: outdoor cushions

More than 575 items are eligible across furniture, lighting, art, window treatments and outdoor accessories.

Score Up to 85% Off in the Ballard Designs Clearance Section

Ballard Designs has more than 500 clearance items, and many are around 30% to 40% off. The best deals are on outdoor furniture and cushions, where some pieces are 75% off or more.

Keep a few things in mind before you buy.

• Measure first. Clearance items can’t be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective, so double-check sizes and colors before you order.
• Factor in shipping. Standard shipping runs from $6.95 on small orders to 12% of the total on orders over $350, so a big discount can shrink at checkout.
• Check “New to Clearance” if you’ve shopped the section before. It shows only the newest markdowns, so you won’t scroll past items you’ve already seen.

Here are a few standout deals.

• Teak Coffee Table: $199.99, down from $799
• Navio Chaise Replacement Cushion: $124.99, down from $759
• Catalina 6-Light Chandelier: $340.99, down from $1,299
• Mona Entry Bench With Hutch: $674.99, down from $2,499

Here are the ways cardmembers save:

• $50 new cardmember bonus: Open the card and use it within 60 days of account opening to receive a $50 bonus.
• 10% back in rewards: Earn one point for every $1 spent at Ballard Designs. Every 250 points converts to a $25 Reward Certificate. Certificates are issued in $25 increments up to $500 per billing cycle and are redeemable on qualifying purchases made with your card.
• 20% birthday discount: Cardmembers receive a 20% discount offer during their birthday month along with exclusive promotions and in-store event invitations.

Eligible items are marked with a “Ships Free” badge and include indoor and outdoor pillows, bedding, blankets and throws, bedskirts, sheets, duvet inserts and bath products.

For everything else, shipping fees are based on your order total. Rates start at $6.95 for small orders and go up to 12% of the parcel total on orders over $350. That makes it worth checking the free shipping page before you buy, especially on larger orders where shipping costs add up fast.

How to Use a Ballard Designs Promo Code

Follow these steps to apply a promo code at checkout:

2. On the Shopping Cart page, find the Promo Code field in the Order Summary panel on the right.

Ballard Designs allows only one promo code per order. If a code is not working, check whether your items are excluded. Sale and clearance items are often ineligible for additional codes.

Editor’s Take

If you’re shopping for outdoor furniture or cushions, start with the clearance section. That’s where Ballard Designs has its deepest markdowns, and some pieces are 75% off or more. Many other clearance items are only 30% to 40% off, which is close to what the best promo code takes off full-price pieces, so compare both before you buy.

For everything else, try the promo codes. MKAS23362 at 35% off offers the highest savings. Ballard Designs allows only one code per order, and sale items are often excluded.

Ballard Designs Coupons FAQs

Does Ballard Designs offer promo codes?

Yes. However, many of the best Ballard Designs deals apply automatically without a code. These include the rotating Current Offers, clearance markdowns and the Buy Multiples program, which saves 30% to 50% on select items. Promo codes are usually available during major sales events and holidays.

Can I stack Ballard Designs promo codes?

No. Ballard Designs allows only one promo code per order. Reward Certificates cannot be combined with other discounts either. Automatic discounts like Current Offers, Buy Multiples and clearance markdowns are already reflected in the listed price, so no code is needed for those.

Do Ballard Designs coupons work on sale and clearance items?

Not usually. Promo codes and coupons cannot be used on clearance items or items that are already discounted.

How do I get free shipping at Ballard Designs?

Ballard Designs does not offer sitewide free shipping. However, select bedding, bath and pillow items ship free every day with no minimum purchase required. Look for the “Ships Free” badge on eligible items. During sales events, you may also find promo codes that include free shipping. For everything else, standard shipping is based on a tiered rate tied to your order total.

Is the Ballard Designs Credit Card worth it?

It can be if you shop at Ballard Designs regularly. You earn one point for every $1 spent, and every 250 points converts to a $25 Reward Certificate, which works out to 10% back. New cardmembers also get a $50 bonus, a 20% birthday discount offer and the option to choose 12 months no interest instead of earning rewards on purchases of $599 or more.

How does Ballard Designs Refer a Friend Work?

You generate a personal referral link and share it with friends. When someone signs up through your link, they get $50 off their first order of $200 or more. Once they complete that purchase, you receive a $50 coupon toward your next order of $200 or more. There is no limit on how many friends you can refer.

Does Ballard Designs really offer free design help?

Yes. Ballard Designs offers free consultations by virtual meeting, email, phone, in-store or in-home. Each consultation includes inspiration boards, a customized design plan, product recommendations and a realistic budget. It is a useful way to plan a purchase and see what your ideas would look like before you commit.
