Once you have visited the offer page to determine your eligibility, select “Click to add the code to your account.” Once you have done that, select the virtual gift card of your choice, choose the $50 gift card value and opt for text message delivery. As you are checking out, make sure that you see the confirmation message: “Thank you for treating someone to an Amazon.com Gift Card. Now we’re treating you to a $5 promotional credit automatically applied to your account, and good for eligible products sold by Amazon.com.”
You may not see your credit right away, but you can expect to see a confirmation email within three days of placing the order. Once your credit has arrived, you are free to spend it on anything that is labeled “Sold by Amazon.com” or “Sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC.”
