Invite-only deals are only available to Prime members, and are limited to one item per customer for each deal. Many will likely sell out fast due to high demand and limited quantities, so you’ll need to act fast if you see one that you know you want.

6. Use Slickdeals to Price Check

These days, its pretty common to see products go on sale year-round, even outside of classic shopping events like Black Friday and Prime Day. And with so much stuff on sale at once, it can be hard to tell whether the deal you’re considering is actually too good to pass up.

If you absolutely need something and see it on sale, it’s probably a good idea to just go ahead and order it. However, if you’re feeling tempted by an impulse purchase, it’s best to take a few minutes to research how often the item goes on sale, and whether the price you’re seeing tends to appear frequently.

To accomplish this, search for the product on our website to see similar past and present deals, as well as how our community has reacted to previous offers. If it seems like the product you’re interested in sees similar discounts regularly, you may want to hold off so that you can reserve your money for the sale items that are actually rare.

7. Make Sure Your Account is Set Up And Ready To Go

While this may seem obvious, it never hurts to double-check that you’re prepared, especially when faced with so many “blink and you miss it” deals. Prior to Prime Day, we recommend you confirm that your Prime membership is active, and that all your shipping and payment info is up to date. After all, we’d hate to see you miss out on the deal you’ve been dreaming of due to a careless mistake.
