Every week the Slickdeals community votes up the best deals it can find, and this week’s top picks cover a solid range: restaurant BOGOs from Smashburger and KFC, discounted streaming from Audible and Paramount+, a Costco membership deal for first-timers, and a couple of Amazon tool deals. All of these are still live as of this writing, though a few have hard expiration dates coming up fast.

Smashburger: Buy One Burger or Big Dog, Get One Free (Expires 10/3)

Smashburger is running a BOGO deal on any burger or Big Dog through October 3, and this one has been a community favorite all week. Score: +263. To get it online, add two burgers to your cart and enter promo code SEPBOGO26 at checkout. For in-restaurant orders, just mention the offer at the register. A few things to note: the deal is only available at participating US locations, it excludes the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smash and any crispy chicken items, and premium modifiers cost extra. One BOGO per transaction. With burgers regularly running $12 to $15 at Smashburger, this is a meaningful discount if you have a location nearby.

Audible: 4-Month Standard Membership + $20 Credit for $1/Month (Prime)

Prime members can get 4 months of Audible Standard for $0.99/month, plus a $20 Audible Credit with signup. Score: +242. That’s $3.96 total for four months of service and a $20 credit to spend on audiobooks. The catch with Standard: audiobooks you select with monthly credits are only accessible while you remain a member. If you cancel, those titles get locked until you resubscribe. For most people, that means treating this as a great way to grab four books cheaply and potentially use the credit on permanent purchases or Whispersync deals. The offer is valid for new and select returning accounts, auto-renews at $8.99/month after 4 months, and expires October 7, 2026.

Paramount+: 2 Months Premium (No Ads) for $1/Month

New and eligible former Paramount+ subscribers can get two months of the Premium No-Ads tier for $0.99/month using promo code 26zcsp2prm3qz. Score: +221. The Premium plan includes Showtime, 4K UHD streaming on select titles, CBS live (including NFL on CBS and UEFA Champions League), 40,000+ episodes and movies, and streaming on up to 3 devices at once. It auto-renews at $13.99/month after two months, so set a calendar reminder if you plan to cancel. You’ll need to enter the code on the website at checkout; the in-app flow doesn’t always surface the promo code field.

KFC: Buy One Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combo, Get One Free (Valid Through 12/25)

KFC Rewards Members can get a free Spicy Chicken Zinger Sandwich Combo when they buy one through the KFC app or website. Score: +220. Rewards membership is free to join. The combo includes the sandwich, a side, and a medium drink. To redeem, log in, find the offer under your rewards, and hit the “Redeem” button before ordering. Some community members report not seeing the offer in their account, so results may vary by location. Free pickup is available at select restaurants. The deal runs through December 25, 2026.

Costco Membership: 1 Year + $20 Shop Card for $65 (New Members)

New Costco members can get a 1-year Gold Star membership plus a $20 Digital Costco Shop Card for $65 when they enroll in auto-renewal. Score: +191. The Executive tier is also available at $130/year and comes with a $40 Shop Card, plus 2% annual rewards and early shopping hours. Both options are valid for first-time members only, or anyone who hasn’t held a Costco membership in the past 18 months. Auto-renewal must be set up at the time of sign-up on a Visa or Mastercard debit card to receive the Shop Card. This offer is online only.

WorkPro 8-Piece 72-Tooth Flex-Head Wrench Set: $29.99 (Prime)

Prime members can pick up the WORKPRO 8-piece 72-Tooth Flex-Head Ratcheting Metric Combination Wrench Set for $29.99 with promo code K7HIZXE6, down from $49.99. Score: +173. The set includes 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 17mm wrenches made from chrome vanadium steel, with a 180° flex head for tight spots and a 72-tooth ratchet requiring only a 5° swing arc. It comes with an oxford cloth tool pouch. Community members with experience using the WorkPro flex sets report solid durability over a couple of years of use. Sizes 9, 16, 18, and 19mm are not included, so keep that in mind if you need a full metric spread.

HOTO Pocket Laser Measuring Tool: $20.99 with Code

The HOTO Pocket-Size Laser Measuring Tool is $20.99 on Amazon with promo code VX653CNV, down from $29.99. Score: +51. It measures up to 98 feet with ±2mm accuracy, supports Ft/M/in unit conversion, charges via USB-C, and has an OLED display. One thing worth flagging: multiple community members report that some basic functions, including unit switching, require a companion phone app. If you prefer a standalone tool with no app dependency, that’s worth factoring in before buying.
