For most Slickdealers using a desktop browser, we’re placing the upvote/downvote buttons more prominently on deal pages. Previously, these buttons were underneath the product description and much less visible on a browser. No more scrolling all the way down to leave your input!

Enhancing the Deal Alert Experience!
The best deals go quickly, so the most successful Slickdealers set deal alerts to stay ahead of the game. We’re now upgrading our deal alert-triggered emails to make deal alerts an even more effective dealhunting strategy.
Once you set a deal alert, you’ll receive emails that show both current matches and related deals. For example, if you set alerts for “hair oil” and “wavy hair care,” you might see additional, relevant deals on hair tools, hair masks, and hair ties.
By receiving a broader range of personalized deals, you’ll stay on top of deals for the products you want (and get a head start on deals you didn’t know you needed!)

Shaping the Future of Slickdeals!
This month, we launched an Ambassador program to establish a closer connection with select users based on account age, participation level, and amount of feedback they’ve provided to us. Ambassadors will preview early features/functionality, including conceptual alpha/beta state ideas, and provide feedback before wider release to all Slickdealers.
We had a first call with a few of the members of the Ambassador program via Zoom. Our discussion topics ranged from the upcoming mobile app (really early alpha) to potential changes in site/moderation policies to our favorite merchants and deals, as well as the recent Staff Picks contest.
