Netflix revolutionized the way we watch movies, but Mint Mobile Plus is revolutionizing the way we watch bad movies. Or, rather, movie. Actor Ryan Reynolds has recently announced the creation of his own streaming platform, Mint Mobile Plus, and it’s free to all viewers. While there is no requirement for a subscription, there is one small catch. The only film available to stream is an obscure 2003 action-comedy called Foolproof, starring none other than Reynolds himself.

This joke streaming platform is part of an advertising campaign for Mint Mobile, a budget friendly cellular provider that Reynolds recently purchased a controlling stake in. So this offer is basically one big ad, but it’s a pretty great one. The movie itself is actually fairly entertaining, even if it is dripping in early-2000’s cliches. That might make the movie better honestly, especially since it’s being streamed in “2003 DVD quality.”
If you’re looking for your next movie night feature, you might want to check out Foolproof on Mint Mobile Plus. You can also check out MintMobile.com to learn more about Reynolds’ budget cell provider. Service starts at $15 dollars a month and includes access to 5G at no additional charge.
