Far Cry 6 and all associated DLC will be playable for free between March 24 and March 27. The free-play weekend is part of its Stranger Things promotion, which is bringing a new cross-over mission to all players on March 24.

Ubisoft is running the event across all platforms (PC, Xbox and PlayStation), and your progress will be saved if you decide to purchase the game once the trial ends. Far Cry 6 is also seeing steep discounts during the event – with price cuts of up to 50% on the base game and DLC. Discounts and availability vary by platform, so be sure to check them out over the next few days and cash in on the savings.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the discounts:

  • Ubisoft Store: Far Cry 6 discounted 50% until the end of March.
  • Xbox: All editions of Far Cry 6 are discounted 50% between March 24-28. The Season Pass will see a 35% discount.
  • PlayStation: From March 23-30, Standard and Gold editions are 50% off, and the Season Pass is 35% off as part of PlayStation Store’s Deal of the Week.
  • Epic Games Store: Players can get 50% off the Standard, Gold, Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game and 35% off the Season Pass. You’ll also find a 35% discount on the Vaas: Insanity DLC and a 25% discount on the Pagan: Control DLC.
  • Stadia: From March 24-31, the Standard, Gold and Ultimate editions of the game are 50% off, and the Season Pass is 35% off. The Deluxe edition is 40% off until March 31.

Far Cry 6 was released in October 2021, pulling in generally favorable reviews from critics.
