Details on the VAVA 4K Projector/Smart TV

Short throw laser projectors are a relatively recent technology that innovates on the traditional projector by casting a large cinema-like image onto a wall from just inches — not feet — away.
VAVA’s 4K projector can cast a 100-inch picture from just 7.2 inches away from the wall, and a maximum picture size of 150-inches with a little adjustment. This means you can easily integrate it onto a conventional TV stand and enjoy a home cinema experience without the complicated ceiling-mounted setup of a traditional projector.

The VAVA projector supports 4K UHD content and HDR10 for high-contrast presentations via a 6000 lumens laser light source, with a claimed 2500 ANSI lumen image brightness. It boasts an 85% NTSC color gamut and achieves a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, which should translate to deep blacks and rich colors.
The projector uses an Android-based smart menu system with a full app store and support for most of the biggest streaming and media apps including Netflix, HBONow, Amazon Prime and more, along with HDMI inputs to connect your other devices. And it complements the home cinema experience with a built in Harman Kardon stereo sound speaker setup, with support for Dolby Audio and dts-HD.
Since the projector itself is basically a smart TV, you don’t need additional equipment to start enjoying your movies and shows in a large format.
