Free money doesn’t come around often, but Best Buy is getting close. As part of its 60th anniversary celebration, the retailer is offering a steep discount on its own gift cards for one day only. Here’s everything you need to know before you head to the store.

$100 Best Buy Gift Card: $60

On Saturday, August 22, Best Buy stores will sell a $100 Best Buy gift card for $60, a 40% discount off the $100 value. The offer is in-store only with a limit of one Special Edition 60th Anniversary gift card per customer, and quantities are limited with no rainchecks. The Slickdeals community has pushed this one to a +71 deal score with 9,042 views and 31 comments since it was posted.

The gift card is one of six Anniversary Day offers available exclusively in stores that day, so it’s worth browsing while you’re there. Commenters are already planning their Saturday. One noted that a Reddit post indicates a 50 card minimum per store, while another predicted the deal will easily be gone within the first few minutes. In other words, arrive early.
