Lowe’s got its “Holiday Savings” rolling with a Black Friday promo that started on Oct. 29, a full two weeks before the coveted day-of-shopping, which means discounts are live. With the Lowe’s promotion calendar locked in, you can shop confidently knowing you’re checking for the best prices at the right times. 

When Does Lowe’s Black Friday Sale Start?

Deals started on Oct. 29 across tools, appliances, holiday decor and outdoor power equipment, where the first batch of Early Bird prices ran through Nov. 4. Notably, on Lowes.com the “Early Bird Black Friday” header is still active. The second batch is slated for the 12 Days of Deals, which starts Nov. 16. This advent-calendar style ad drop reveals new offers each day all the way up until Black Friday, which is an expansion of the 10-day event Lowe’s previously ran.

Thanksgiving week is when we get into the meat and potatoes. Black Friday Doorbusters are open to everyone on Nov. 27. MyLowe’s Rewards and MyLowe’s Pro Rewards members get the chance to add deals to their Thanksgiving feast, since Doorbusters open a day early for them. Cyber Deals come next, though dates remain unannounced. Lowe’s rounds out the year with December Deal Drops, which is set to run Dec. 3–24.

Is Lowe’s Open on Thanksgiving and Black Friday?

All Lowe’s stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. The only way to access deals and discounts during the holidays is online. As mentioned, MyLowe’s Rewards and Pro Rewards members can shop a day early on Thanksgiving before the virtual Black Friday traffic kicks in. 

Lowe’s hasn’t announced other closures. It also hasn’t published Black Friday store hours, so check your store’s hours before leaving the house. Lowe’s is also closed Christmas Day.

Traditional tool buyers are keen on the 8Ah kit, but the batteries are multi-use. As one user put it, “The 8ah powerpack (tabless) batteries are great in my kids power wheels.”

The Rest of the Top 10 Black Friday Deals 2026

Now let’s dig into a few of the deals. The 10-inch DEWALT Miter Saw sold for $369 last November, but that deal bundled a free 8Ah battery, so the $299 bare-tool price matches its February Frontpage low rather than beating last year outright. The DEWALT XTREME 12V Kit at $129 is the lowest price we’ve seen since an Amazon deal in October 2024, and the sliding miter saw at $249 with a blade beats the lowest earlier thread, $253.09 in January. Community member jj2000 even said, “Now that’s a fantastic price on a great saw!” about the miter saw.

The three battery bundles at the bottom are discount prices we’ve seen since mid-October, and the free tools is where most of their value lies. During last year’s Black Friday sale, Lowe’s had the 5Ah 2-pack with two free tools at $299; the $199 version now includes one. As for the 8Ah kit in the cards, select Home Depot stores sold the same battery and charger kit for $199.50 in August, though without freebies included.

For some stocking stuffers, the DEWALT TOUGH GRIP 110-piece screwdriver bit set at $29.98 ties its lowest price of the past year, a price Lowe’s has offered several times since April. The CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK 242-piece mechanics set at $99 matches last Black Friday’s Frontpage price, though it sold for $10 less in July at $89, so it’s worth monitoring for another dip during the 12 Days of Deals.

Lowe’s Deals We’re Still Watching

So far, we’ve only been served hor d’oeuvres, with some heartier appetizers on the way. The advent-calendar style 12 Days of Deals starts soon, but we don’t know the exact pricing of those items yet. The same goes for the main course: Thanksgiving week Doorbusters, which are yet to be featured. The Doorbusters will cover major appliances, power tools from DEWALT, Kobalt and CRAFTSMAN, pre-lit artificial Christmas trees, Holiday Living lights and garlands, flooring, cabinets, ladders and paint. In the meantime, MyLowe’s Rewards members can expect early access to new Traeger grills in November, with 3X points on eligible Traeger purchases with offer activation.

How to Get the Top Lowe’s Black Friday Deals

For Lowe’s, paying attention to the clock is everything. Most of the aforementioned battery and free-tool bundles are valid through Jan. 20, 2027, so there’s no reason to rush on those. The Early Bird Black Friday Deals, however, were only around for a single week. Demystify shopping  Doorbusters and sign up for MyLowe’s Rewards before Thanksgiving, since members get online access a day ahead of everyone else, plus free same-day delivery on eligible orders of $25 or more.

Lowe’s says its stores don’t honor online pricing, and prices can vary by region; one Slickdealer found the CRAFTSMAN V20 kit at $159 in their local store. On free-tool offers, choose your bonus items in the offer box on the product page. If that box won’t load, a workaround from the thread is to add the kit to your cart and make your selection from there.
